From the beginning of time, Japan was an eccentric country that inspired the world with original ideas. One of the most emblematic things that characterize this country is the creation of animations, known today as manga, anime and hentai. As their popularity in Japan increased surprisingly, the whole world showed interest in the culture of the country and in its animated productions.

The popularity of manga in Japan

Manga is a Japanese form of art created for entertainment. It is represented by iconic comic books like “One Piece”, “Naruto”, “Sazae-san”, and more that have remained until today the heart of Japanese pop culture. Because it covers a wide variety of genres, manga is allowed to be used in schools for educational reasons. Math, grammar, biology, literature, and more materials have been explained through comic books for both children and adults, males and females.

In addition, without manga, neither anime nor cosplay would have existed. Manga stories were very popular in Japan after World War II and had spread their popularity in the rest of the world very quickly. When the technology era exploded, manga stories were adapted to Japanese cartoons, known as anime.

The technology explosion brought manga to another level. Comic book creators adapted their drawings to short animated movies that followed the main features of manga stories. Thus, anime became a form of the cultural symbol for Japan. Firstly, they were very popular in the country, then in the whole world. Shortly after anime was released, it became one of the country’s biggest global exports.

Over recent years, the popularity of anime has grown considerably. People all around the world began to watch anime despite their age, sex, or cultural background. What people mostly enjoy about anime is the intensity of the storylines with endings difficult to predict. Nowadays, there are millions of animations produced and released all over the world every year. But Japanese animation still remains the most popular of them.

The popularity of hentai in Japan

Until today, Japan has created thousands of fully animated hentai videos. After the rise of Otaku culture, the production and demand for hentai products increased within and outside the country. These factors lead to a wider variety of hentai meant to expand the audience. Even if Japan is a repressive society in many ways, Japanese filmmakers still produced a wide range of surprising perversion in adult manga and anime.
